What this tool is

Bed Size Chart is a free, browser-based reference that compares nominal mattress dimensions and estimates how a mattress footprint may fit inside a rectangular room. You may use it for lawful personal or commercial planning.

Guidance, not a guarantee

Mattress, frame, headboard and bedding dimensions vary by maker, model and country. Room-fit results use the mattress footprint centered with its head against one wall. They do not model the outer frame or headboard, doors, wardrobes, radiators, other furniture, uneven walls or access for delivery. Always measure the actual room and product before buying. Bed Size Chart is not responsible for purchases or layout decisions made from an estimate.

Your data

The tool runs in your browser. It may save your most recent sizing standard, comparison and valid room settings in your browser's local storage so they are ready next time. A share link contains the settings needed to reproduce that comparison. The tool does not upload room dimensions or comparison state to us. See the privacy policy for details.
