What this tool is

Bed Size Chart is a free, browser-based reference that compares nominal mattress dimensions and estimates how a mattress footprint may fit inside a rectangular room. You may use it for lawful personal or commercial planning.

Guidance, not a guarantee

Mattress, frame, headboard and bedding dimensions vary by maker, model and country. Room-fit results use the mattress footprint centered with its head against one wall. Bedding-fit checks labelled dimensions, pocket margin or drop, but cannot model elastic, seams, shrinkage, frame height or personal preference. These estimates do not model doors, wardrobes, radiators, other furniture, uneven walls or delivery access. Always measure the actual room and product before buying. Bed Size Chart is not responsible for purchases or layout decisions made from an estimate.

Your data

The tool runs in your browser. It may save your most recent reference chart, comparison, valid room settings and valid Bedding-fit check in local storage so they are ready next time. A share link contains the settled settings needed to reproduce that result. The tool does not upload custom mattress, room or bedding dimensions to us. See the privacy policy for details.

The service is provided as available, without warranties of accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Bed Size Chart is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the tool.

The data, tool and these terms may change as the service improves. The effective date above identifies this version; continuing to use the tool after an update means you accept the revised terms.
